One week ago STG Trattoria, a buzzed about Neapolitan offering from Brian Lewis of Bocado and alums from Abattoir and Sotto Sotto, opened to the public. Now it's time for a look around.
Set in a large, airy space out on West Paces, STG serves a wide selection of Neapolitan style pizzas baked in a 5,000 pound Acunto oven as well as creative crostinis, some starters, and a handful of pastas. Cocktails are a serious focus, as are the wines, stored in a cellar diners pass through before entering the main dining room. Feedback so far is pretty positive, but we're accepting all early reviews and thoughts to the Eater Atlanta tipline. Lunch starts next week.
