Food Network personality Paula Deen has partnered with Nanco Group to bring America Paula Deen Foods. The company is set to launch products in major grocery and retail stores this fall and will sell classic (read: butter-laden) and "lighter versions"— for those who don't want Type 2 diabetes— of the chef's popular creations for customers to prepare in their own homes.
Paula Deen Foods, which is Savannah-based like the celeb chef herself, will "allow Deen to bring her favorite recipes to families without the hassle and expense of purchasing and making all the ingredients." Falling under the umbrella of the new company are Paula Deen Hams and Baked Goods, which are already sold across the country, as well as new "fresh prepared meals for families to enjoy together."
