TRACE is now open in W Atlanta — Midtown. Located in the space previously occupied by shuttered Spice Market, this "farm-to-hotel" concept is organized by executive chef Shean Suter.
Suter will source food locally and seasonally thanks to a partnership with Wolfscratch Farm in Jasper, Ga. For summer, breakfast will include eggs, bacon, grits, and fingerling potatoes. Lunch will have dishes such as shrimp and grits and a BLT sandwich. A full bar will be on-site.
TRACE is open for breakfast Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Lunch is daily, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and dinner takes place Sunday through Wednesday, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Thursday through Saturday, 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Note that today, June 19, is a soft open and the restaurant will not be open for dinner until tomorrow, June 20.
Looking for local produce? Wolfscratch Farm and TRACE are currently offering a CSA program. Applications must be filled out before June 23.
