Tomo Buckhead Opening October 10th

Despite reports that Tomo's new location in Buckhead will open on October 14th, Eater Atlanta just learned from an anonymous source (who heard it from one of the chef's servers) that the restaurant will actually open on October 10th. According to our source, Tomo has hired three heavy-hitting Japanese chefs to work at the new location with experience at places like Bishoku, Taka, MF Sushi Buckhead, Haru Ichiban, and Nobu. In other related news, it seems that some well-known local sushi chefs are currently battling it out for the old Tomo space in Smyrna. We'll keep you posted on who reigns supreme.
