Latitude opens today at Phipps Plaza. The restaurant is the brainchild of chef Micah Willix and his partners Emily Streib Marcil and Kenny Perlman. Willix, who was formerly at Ecco, says the cuisine will be unique, yet approachable. Look for dishes like golden tile fish with quinoa, red kuri squash and tangerine, scallop crudo with saffron, fennel and champagne vinegar, and braised lamb shank with fresh chiles and cashews. The wine list will hold more thsan 60 old and new world bottles and there will be a carefully curated list of cocktails. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner every day.
