What Now, Atlanta reports on two surprising closings. First Outwrite Bookstore & Coffeehouse is closing after 18 years. Outwrite, in an email to longtime customers, cited the economy and the book industry behind closing. They did, however, say they hope to reopen in another location in the future. WNA also reports that Ben & Jerry's has closed its Virginia-Highland location. You may remember the ice cream store used to share the open space with Starbucks some years ago before the national coffee chain closed that location. WNA notes there are now six remaining Ben & Jerry's locations in Metro-Atlanta.
