Midtown: Creative Loafing has confirmed that Sotto Sotto's former chef de cuisine Adam Waller is replacing Jose Rego at Escorpion, as previously reported on Eater Atlanta. Waller plans to incorporate a wider range of South American influences and seasonal ingredients, but also keep what's working and appeal to "the masses." Eventually he aims to expand creatively and "give people food they've never had before." [Creative Loafing]

Morningside/VaHi: The owner of D.B.A. Barbecue, Matt Coggin, has taken over as the executive chef. After years working in the front of house, he's now getting into the kitchen to create more specials and update the menu for winter. His culinary team will still include "Ms. Bev" who makes most sides and all desserts. [EaterWire]

Oak Grove: Celebrating its first year in business, Sprig Restaurant is promoting Britt Cloud to Chef de Cuisine and hiring Nick Ladikos as General Manager. In doing so, "neighborhood" owners Anthony and Jennifer Tiberia appear to have replaced opening owner Daniel Morrison and chef Robert Elliott (Watershed alums). [EaterWire]
