1) Poncey-Highlands: As reported by What Now, Atlanta, Ponce City Market has signed Dancing Goats Coffee Bar as its first retail tenant. Josh over at Curbed Atlanta confirms the deal that includes the opening of a temporary Dancing Goats space on the North Ave. side of the building to start. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

2) Everywhere: New food truck Nana G's Chik N Waffles is hitting the streets, according to Thrillist. The family-owned business uses natural ingredients from local farms to create several varieties of the Southern fave. [POST-PLYWOOD]

3) Morningside: The newest Atlanta restaurant to enter the burger wars, Burger Tap is now open at 1409 N. Highland Avenue. Their house-made, ¼ lb. patty is a blend of brisket, chuck, and short-rib, and comes in four themed varieties: classic, southwestern, sesame, and truffle. [POST-PLYWOOD]

4) Brookhaven: Inman Park's Savi Urban Market has opened a second location across town at 1388 Dresden Drive. [POST-PLYWOOD]

5) Midtown: The "cursed" spot at 10th and Piedmont is being taken over by a new tenant, Campagnolo, reports the Midtown Patch. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

6) Sandy Springs: Denver-based chain Smashburger is opening its fifth Atlanta-area location next Wednesday, December 28, at 6080 Roswell Road. [PLYWOOD]

7) Roswell: The owners of The Salt Factory and INC. Street Food plan to open Little Alley Steak in mid-January, tweets Restaurants ATL. [PLYWOOD]

8) Westside: On January 7th, Hop City will open an expansion of their growler wall, bringing the total to 60 taps, notes Beer Street Journal. Beer Street also reports that Hop City's planning a second store in Birmingham, Alabama. [PLYWOOD]

9) Buckhead: Local sports bar franchise, Olde Towne Tavern & Grille will open in the former Saskatoon space early next year. [PLYWOOD]
