Welcome to Eater Atlanta

2011_eater-atlanta-icon.jpgEater Atlanta has arrived!

We're thrilled to launch in the most exciting food city in the South. Yeah, we just made that claim and we can totally back it up. At Eater Atlanta, you won't find original restaurant reviews, recipes, or food porn; but we have you covered with unique reporting, user-generated tips, and a curated round-up of what the rest of the food people around town—and the nation—are talking about.

Eater Atlanta is happy to join the Eater National family of sites,
including New York, Chicago, LA, SF, Miami, Austin, DC, Portland, and
our fellow new kids on the block: Dallas and Houston. Do give them a
click when you get a free moment, but not quite yet.

A little about me, your Eater Atlanta editor, Jennifer Zyman: You
perhaps recognize my name from my blog, The Blissful Glutton, and my work as a restaurant critic over at Creative Loafing. (And, full disclosure, I own a small slice of a few Johnny Rockets around town.) But enough about me. Let's talk about you.

While Eater Atlanta is your source for anything and everything worth hearing about in the Atlanta foodscape, we can't do it without our readers—whether you are avid eater-outer or a pro watching some not so kosher stuff going down in your workplace. No opening, closing, back-of-the-house mishap, crazy piece of signage, menu typo, health code violation, celebrity sighting, or rumor about a chef knocking up one of his servers is too small or too weird. Actually, the weirder the better. We like weird.

So, do keep in touch with us and send us anything you think we'd love to hear about via our tipline: atlanta@eater.com. Help us help you. This will be fun.
