Chef Jose Rego is taking over the kitchen at Riccardo Ullio's new Mexican restaurant El Escorpion according to Besha Rodell, Creative Loafing's dining editor and critic. Rego and Ullio have collaborated before at Sotto Sotto and the short-lived Lupe. Until recently, Rego was working at his Forest Park taqueria, Taco Rancho. Rodell reports Rego's current association with Taco Rancho is unknown. [Creative Loafing]
