Crash Diets Are Murder

A Georgia solider has been charged with murder and he's blaming it on his crash diet according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Army Staff Sgt. Rashad Valmont stopped eating and started working out excessively in an effort to shed 3 percent of his body weight. Two days later, after receiving a poor performance review, he walked into Master Sgt. Pedro Mercado's office and shot him six times with a Glock handgun. Was it revenge or diet-induced delirium? The court martial begins Monday. [AJC]
