Fulton county restaurant inspectors are cracking down on Atlanta restaurants. "Armed with a new set of rules and a beefed-up staff, Fulton's health department has slapped some of the city's high-profile restaurants with poor marks." They've handed out low scores to some surprising higher end institutions like Buckhead Diner, which scored a paltry 57 on its most recent inspection. Even chef Richard Blais' Flip Burger Boutique wasn't safe. In April, the Buckhead location of the Top Chef's burger empire received a 70 (a C), but quickly made the changes necessary to push the score back to a 98 (an A). [AJC]
