We just received word from an anonymous source inside Georgia Tech that chef Jose Andrés will be lecturing at Georgia Tech/Fernbank (the location is still undecided) in the near future. The award-winning Spanish chef will speak along with two Harvard professors on the "Physics of Food and Cooking." Andrés is no stranger to physics as he has taught at Harvard along with renowned chef Ferran Adrià, who recently closed his restaurant El Bulli. No word on whether or not the event will be open to the public, but we'll keep you posted. If you aren't familiar with Andres, this year-old piece on "60 Minutes" with Anderson Cooper is a good introduction into the chef's cooking style and culinary philosophy.
