Atlanta Magazine's Editor Steve Fennessy discusses the decision to focus August's issue on Atlanta's entire dining scene instead of just the best new places to eat - mostly because Dining editor and restaurant critic Bill Addison told Fennessy that "For whatever reasons—the economy, fickle diners, onerous liquor laws—new restaurants weren’t opening in metro Atlanta at the pace they traditionally have." Addison and Christiane Lauterbach still did a bang up job considering the dearth of new places to cover. The issue is currently on stands and you can get a free preview on the magazine's website.
