A step closer to Sunday sales

alcoholsales%2A280.jpgDave Williams, of The Atlanta Business Chronicle, reports that over 100 Georgia communities have put Sunday sales of alcohol on their November ballots. “We would like to commend the city and county leaders throughout the state who have decided to give the people the right to choose what is best for their communities,” GFIA (Georgia Food Industry Association) President Kathy Kuzava said. “This effort has always been about our industry’s desire to serve our customers. If the referendums are successful, our customers are the ones who will benefit.” [ABC]
