Welcome to Eater's latest feature, Tales Of The Weird, in which we ask restaurateurs, chefs, and barkeeps what kind of weirdness they've observed in their establishments.

Today's tale comes from from Matt Coggin, the owner of D.B.A. Barbecue in Virginia Highland.
We hosted a party for the volunteers for the Virginia-Highland Tour of Homes on our patio. Guests were given access to a buffet and allotted two drinks. However, a guest took it upon himself to walk behind the bar inside and pour himself a beer while the bartender was in the bathroom. The bartender returned while he was in the act and confronted him- to which the guy replied, "I have enough money to buy this place, so I will help myself!" I approached him a minute later and informed him not to go behind the bar again, and to feel free to make an offer!Want to submit your Tale Of The Weird? Send 'em on over to atlanta@eater.com. No tale is too weird (or too dirty). Actually, the weirder (and dirtier) the better.
