Chief dining critic for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, John Kessler takes "A look at the new airport concessions." He's hopeful that outposts of midtown's Ecco and Buckhead's Varasano’s and Twist will bring a much-needed food refresh. The project will begin this spring with the opening of international Concourse F and finish up in early 2014. Kessler notes the challenges that face restaurateurs in adapting to airport logistics, but looks forward to restaurants like: Tamarind Seed Thai Bistro, Yeah Burger, Grindhouse Killer Burgers, Rolling Bones BBQ, the Varsity, Original El Taco, Chicken N Beer, and Georgia Grown, which will offer a grab-and-go selection of local foods.
