Baroni Closed, To Be Replaced By Fig Jam Kitchen Bar

The casual Italian concept from the owners of Baraonda and Publik, Baroni has closed and will be replaced with Fig Jam Kitchen Bar in the next couple of weeks, according to What Now, Atlanta. Baroni had taken over the former space of Wolf Gang Puck Express in late 2010, inside the troubled Brookwood Place shopping center. Manager Damir Kamber told WNA that the new concept, Fig Jam, will be an "American style restaurant with a twist of some international cuisine" because "Baroni wasn't doing it for them [the owners]." What does it for them now appears to be live entertainment and "small, medium and large plates," coming soon.
