On Georgia Public Broadcasting's show Georgia Traveler, Marvin Woods stops by Empire State South to catch up with "culinary superstar" Hugh Acheson. Woods starts off by "putting our mind at ease" about Acheson's prowess as a Southern chef—he has, after all, been nominated five times for the James Beard Award's "Best Chef: Southeast" and appeared on Top Chef as a contestant and now judge (whew! we can trust him because "this Canadian gets how Georgians eat and how we live"). Watch Hugh tour Marvin around the ESS homestead and make a bangin' tiffin lunch. Also, pastry chef Cynthia Wong showcases the dessert bar and executive chef Ryan Smith takes Marvin to school on the bocce court. Check out the video here.
