KR SteakBar's website launched last week and on it, curious Atlantans can see floor plan designs, renderings and more. The fourth restaurant in Chef Kevin Rathbun's budding empire, KR SteakBar will focus on Italian-inspired small plates targeted at twenty- and thirtysomethings with budget in mind. (And by in mind, we mean more affordable than Rathbun's and Kevin Rathbun Steak.) Rathbun's been promising a January 2013 opening, and for once, construction seems to be right on schedule.
"The project is moving along right on time," Rathbun said. "The space will be a great addition the the Peachtree Hills neighborhood and we look forward to opening the restaurant in January."
As for what's next: "We will be announcing our chef de cuisine within the next two weeks," he says.
