If the Mayans are right, the world just might end on December 21, and Robert Phalen of One Eared Stag wants to make sure he goes out with a bang. The chef designed an End of the World dinner featuring a 12-course meal with drink pairings, passed appetizers, and a break after five courses for oysters and cured meats starting at 6 p.m. that Friday. Chefs cooking include Eater Atlanta Chef of the Year Tyler Williams, Andy Carson of Bacchanalia, Miso Izakaya's Guy Wong, Adam Evans of the Optimist, and more. The cost of the event is $150 per person, and reservations can be made starting Monday, November 19. More details here. [Atlanta]
