THANKSGIVING OPENINGS— Tomorrow, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse will serve a prix-fixe Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Moe's and Joe's will open at 7 p.m., the Albert will open at 6 p.m., both Aurora Coffee locations will serve from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., The hours at Joe's are from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., ParkGrounds's are 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and SIP will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. See coffee shop Black Friday hours here and all 2012 Eater coverage of Thanksgiving openings here. MIDTOWN— All first responders will get free meals at Woody's CheeseSteaks from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, November 22. LUCKIE MARIETTA— An "authentic German/European holiday experience" is now up at Der Biergarten downtown. Decorations, including life-sized nutcrackers and nearly 10,000 ornaments, will be up through early January. Nikolaustag holiday celebrations will take place on December 6 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. for adults and December 8 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. for children. Both celebrations will have games, music, Santa appearances, and giveaways, but the evening event will be catered more toward the grown up crowd. [EaterWire]
