Cook Hall, the new gastropub inside the W Buckhead, opens today. That's two days ahead of schedule, which happens to be a very rare occurrence in the Atlanta restaurant world. Cook Hall will be open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch; the menu includes items such as Welsh rarebit with fried quail egg, crispy duck tacos, and pork belly sliders. Cook Hall also serves specialty cocktails, sodas, shrubs, and bitters, and offers a cocktail kit that allows guests to make their own drinks tableside. Lest you think that the bartenders are lazy, each kit includes bitters, syrups, and shrubs that are made in house in addition to a spirit of choice, fresh herbs, and more cocktail fixin' necessities.
