1) Sandy Springs: Replacing what used to be Rumi's Kitchen at 6152 Roswell Road is SeaBass Kitchen. The restaurant will serve seafood and pasta, and its owner is a great friend of Ali Meshgali, who runs Rumi's and is currently relocating to 6112 Roswell Road. 2) Westside: New to the food truck scene is Masala Fresh, which will sell Indian street food like chicken tikka masala naan wraps as well as Indian soft drinks like Limca and Thums Up at the Atlanta Food Truck Park starting tomorrow. [PLYWOOD]
3) Buckhead: Opening this spring on the ground floor of the Brookwood condominiums at 1820 Peachtree Road will be Saltyard, run by Christian Favalli, the son of La Grotta's co-owner, and his wife Kristy Jones-Favalli. The restaurant will serve American cuisine "with international influences in a mostly small-plate format" along with craft beer, cocktails, and wine. [PLYWOOD]
