Buttermilk Kitchen gets two stars from Jenny Turknett of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution this week. The restaurant came about because owner Suzanne Vizethann saw a need for a chef-driven breakfast and lunch spot, but Turknett surmises that the chef fell a bit short. Although there are many praise-worthy things about the menu, Turknet sums her review up with this:

Like the decor, Buttermilk Kitchen seems unfinished, a work in progress awaiting a personal stamp. Vizethann's market analysis was spot on: The area needs a chef-driven breakfast/lunch spot. And we're counting on her to give it to us.
