1) Midtown: The gay-friendly Gilbert's Mediterranean Cafe & Bar is expanding into the space formerly occupied by Outwrite Bookstore, What Now Atlanta reports. Gilbert's will double in size, but the change won't take place immediately, as lease negotiations have not been finalized. [PRE-PLYWOOD]
2) Decatur: A new place to get your doughnut on is heading to West College Avenue, according to Decatur Metro. Led by the owners of The Little Hen Bakeshop (as seen at the Decatur Farmer's Market), Revolution Donuts and Coffee will open in May next to Ale Yeah!. [PLYWOOD]
3) More in Midtown: The newest Fifth Group restaurant, Lure, is set to open in July and will be led by Executive Chef David Bradley, formerly chef de cuisine at Ecco, according to their Facebook. Located on Crescent Avenue, Lure will focus on seafood. [PLYWOOD]
