Taste of the Nation Comes to Atlanta April 12

Offering an opportunity to enjoy gourmet fare while helping to fight hunger around the world, Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation® Atlanta will be held April 12 at 7:30 pm. at the Georgia Aquarium. Co-chaired by Buckhead Life Restaurant Group founder Pano Karatassos and Ted’s Montana Grill founder George McKerrow, the 24th annual event features food and wine tastings from local restaurants including Chops Lobster Bar, Market, Kaleidoscope and Canoe. We hear Nan will be serving jumbo shrimp panang, while Antico cooks up pizza and cannolis.

In addition to food and wine, there will be music, as well as live and silent auctions with the chance to win private chef dinners and more. All net proceeds from the event go toward Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry® Campaign to end childhood hunger in America and, as part of that campaign, support the Atlanta Community Food Bank, Genesis, A New Life, and Share Our Strength’s Cooking Matters™ Georgia. Tickets cost $250 for general admission and $350 for VIP, which includes a special reception beginning at 6:30 p.m.
