Sweetwater 420 Fest is This Weekend in Candler Park

Sweetwater 420 Fest begins Friday at 4:20 p.m. in Candler Park. It goes until to 11 p.m. Friday, giving working Atlantans a chance to start off the weekend on a high note. It continues Saturday from noon to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Produced by Sweetwater Brewing Co., the festival features beer, food, live music and more.

Open to all ages, the festival offers $5 wristband for those ages 21 and up. The wristband provides access to beer tastings, and a portion of the proceeds go to Park Pride to benefit Candler Park. The Sweetwater 420 Fest 5K Race is also Saturday, at 9 a.m., providing an opportunity to run off the beer calories from Friday night before starting up again at the Fest midday.
