Matt Brosius, the founder of mini-chain Cinco Mexican Cantina, has a new Mexican spot in the works for the just closed Decatur Diner space. Brosius sold his interest in Cantina long ago to move into the linen business—he owned Omni Linen then Blockbuster Linen then Go! Hospitality—but has now divested himself of those projects to focus once again on a restaurant.
Brosius tells Tomorrow's News Today that he's planning a "full service hi quality hi energy Mexican restaurant and bar with a street food twist and exciting patio service." It should open to the public this fall and has the potential to be a good replacement for the short lived and not incredibly well run Decatur Diner.
