As if Moe’s, Willy’s and Chipotle don’t provide enough of an option for fast-casual Mexican fare in Atlanta, Lime Fresh Mexican Grill has seemingly invaded the city with three new locations popping up within a couple of months.

First came the Buckhead location off Roswell Road, where Lime took over the old Johnny Rockets space last month. Then last Friday, Lime opened in Midtown replacing the shuttered Bakeshop on Peachtree Street. May 8, another Lime is set to open in Brookwood, where Genghis Grill briefly held court.

Lime offers the usual burritos and tacos with perhaps a few more options than other restaurants in its category. The menu includes:

· Cantina steak salad with grilled steak on a bed of fresh greens with bacon, black bean corn salsa, onions, peppers, carrots, shredded jack and cheddar cheese, pico de gallo, tortilla strips and a side of creamy cilantro dressing
· South Beach burrito with chicken, jack and cheddar cheese, pico de gallo and shredded lettuce served on a low-carb tortilla
· Surfer tacos with grilled Mahi Mahi, shredded cabbage, pico de gallo and a cool cilantro sauce
· Flautas with chicken, organic black beans, corn, jack and cheddar cheese lightly fried in golden brown, soft yellow corn tortillas and served with a creamy avocado-ranch dipping sauce

There’s also a salsa bar with selections ranging from mild pico de gallo to the spicy habanero salsa.

The interior’s pretty much what one would expect, but the Buckhead location has a large patio with wicker tables and chairs. Not bad for your typical grab-some-guac joint.
