EARTH DAY WIRE - Park 75 at The Four Seasons is offering a three-course "100 Mile Dinner" in which all ingredients are sourced from within 100 miles of the city, in honor of Earth Day April 22. The meal includes roasted Georgia rack of lamb and watercress salad, and costs $100 per couple. [EaterWire]

MIDTOWNBaraonda is hosting a scotch dinner featuring Diageo Master of Whisky Kevin Mulcahy on April 26 at 8 p.m. Attendees will enjoy a four-course menu with whiskey pairings for $39. The scotch (which is actually whiskey made in Scotland) offerings include Dimple, Clynelish, Cragganmore, Lagavulin and Dalwhinnie. [EaterWire]

FESTIVALWIRE – The Dogwood Festival is this weekend. For those who crave something a little more gourmet than the typical festival fare, the Friends of Dogwood tasting pavilion will be open Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and offer tastes from local restaurants such as Spoon, Pitty Pat’s Porch and Babette’s Café for $25 in advance or $35 at the door.
