Richard Blais, Brian Lewis Among Atlanta's 'Rising Stars'

The 2012 Atlanta Rising Stars from Star Chefs have been announced. The 18 award winners, including the already widely recognized Richard Blais of HD1 and Flip and Brian Lewis of STG Trattoria and Bocado, were chosen from a group of 80 professionals in the field. StarChefs.com selected individuals that are expected to be future leaders on the culinary scene in categories like pastry chef and restaurateur, sustainability, concept, and community.

The Rising Stars will be recognized at a gala hosted by Chef Zach Meloy of Pushstart Kitchen on June 13 at Goat Farm Arts Center. The event will feature tastings and drinks prepared by the by the winning chefs, mixologist, and sommelier. Tickets and more information here.
