After some delays, ?wit Bakery and Cafe has opened on the Westside in the Brickworks building. Originally announced in July and slated to open last December, ?wit serves up crepes, croque monsieurs, pierogies, and other European-style dishes in addition to freshly baked breads and pastries (see their Facebook page for the full-on food porn.)

Eat It Atlanta stopped by for a sandwich of salami, gruyere, and an over-easy egg and found it to be "uncomplicated but well done." They note that the prices are a bit high and it faces stiff competition from Octane, but the large selection of pastries and sandwiches is in its favor. ?wit Bakery and Cafe is open for breakfast, lunch, and coffee Tuesday through Sunday.
