It’s officially April and that means the Dogwood Festival is right around the corner. Kicking off the big Piedmont Park event is La Fete, an international party with wine and global fare, April 20 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.. Intended to promote the Cultural Exchange Pavilions, which include Lebanon, Canada, Germany, Mexico, Turkey, France, Japan and the Caribbean, La Fete offers tastes from local restaurants of different ethnicities.
On the list: Desi Spice Indian Cuisine, Gambier Foods, High Road Craft Ice Cream, Spanish Harlem, 3 Brothers Catering & Events, Meehan's Public House, The Olive Bistro and Mezza Lebanese Bistro & Bar, among others.
Held at Greystone event facility in Piedmont Park, the event costs $29 per person and includes wine. Tickets are on sale now.
