Provisions to Go, Alon's, Flip are Top Artisanal Cheap Eats

Seven Atlanta restaurants made the cut for the 2012 Top Artisanal Cheap Eats in the country in this year's Opinionated About Dining restaurant survey. Provisions to Go's baked goods, charcuterie, and takeaway dishes claim the number four spot, and Flip's burgers and milkshakes, Alon's market fare, Fritti and Cameli's thin-crust pizza, and sandwiches from Sun in My Belly and Bread Garden are also on the list.

The Vortex is the highest-ranking Atlanta restaurant on the list of best traditional cheap eats in the country, and Restaurant Eugene and Quinones at Bacchanalia are both in the top 100 restaurants in the country according to the survey. Opinionated About Dining also looked into the best Southern restaurants and classified places by the kind of food they serve.
