Restaurant critic Besha Rodell wrote a piece for her new publication talking about her critiquing style, her love affair with West Coast walnuts, and herself. Formerly of Creative Loafing—before they fired her, before she helped get them into the finals of the Best Newspaper Special Food Projects Award— and currently of LA Weekly, where Eater Los Angeles is trying to unveil her, Rodell hopes "to use [her] outsider status to see things fresh" in LA, just like she did here, which she claims was "ultimately good for both me and, I like to think, Atlanta."
