Yumbii, Cafe at Pharr to Open Pop-Up

Cafe at Pharr and fusion food truck Yumbii plan to operate a pop-up restaurant in the space formerly held by The Grape in Atlantic Station this summer, reports the AJC. Last month, the shopping district announced its search for a business to temporarily take over the spot before the BB&T Atlanta Open in July, and it makes sense that the popular sister restaurants would join forces to create a brick and mortar concept for the location.

The two eateries formed a partnership in 2010, around the time that Cafe at Pharr expanded into Brookhaven. Their pop-up joint is scheduled to open June 1 and run through August 5. Liz Gillespie, director of marketing for Atlantic Station, says that the concept is "a way for restaurants to expand brands to new neighborhoods" and give guests "access to unexpected dining experiences at affordable prices as well as the thrill of taking part in something fleeting.”
