New restaurant Hammocks Trading Company will hit the streets in Sandy Springs this summer. The menu will offer fare that owners Jason Sheetz and William Sigley call "Southern coastal seafood meets Baja, California," and Chef Sigley, who opened Aquanox and was the executive chef at Aja and Bone's before coming on at Hammocks will serve things like oysters and clams steamed, on the half shell, or baked as well as shrimp and watermelon salad with feta and basil, ceviche, spicy jerk chicken wings, and more.
Sheetz was the General Manager of Twist and Area Director at Goldfish, Prime, Aja, and Cantina and both him and his business partner spent years working under Master Chef Tom Catherall at Here to Serve restaurants. Hammocks Trading Company starts work on the exterior next week and will open at 7285 Roswell Road in July.
