The Velvet Note; Le French Quarter Cafe; More

1) Alpharetta: The Velvet Note is now open. A jazz club, it offers complimentary hors d’oeuvres during each show. Eats may include grilled vegetable rolls with red pepper aioli, seafood ceviche and flourless molten chocolate cake. [POST-PLYWOOD]

3) Sandy Springs: The Powers Ferry location of Bruegger's Bagels will celebrate its grand opening June 21 with free 16-ounce iced coffees. [POST-PLYWOOD]

4) Alpharetta: After closing for renovations starting May 21, the North Point FIGO reopened today. The restaurant was originally slated to start serving again on June 4 but encountered slight delays. [POST-PLYWOOD]

5) Oakhurst: Sugar Moon Bake Shop celebrated its grand opening Saturday. The shop sells cupcakes, oatmeal crème pies, cookies and High Road ice cream, among other sweets. [POST-PLYWOOD]
