Reviews for One Eared Stag, Woodfire Grill, and More

In an unexpected move, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's John Kessler awards not one but two restaurants four stars this week. One Eared Stag, the Inman Park restaurant headed by Robert Phalen, was one of them. Kessler calls Phalen "not every chef"— he's innovative and a "nervy cook," one of the favorites of the critic, who says the restaurant "keeps getting better." The tasting menu at Woodfire Grill, where cheftestapant Kevin Gillespie is executive chef, also gets four stars. Kessler "loved the way this meal made [him] feel," which (spoiler alert) was full of "bliss" as well as satiated by the "perfectly choreographed ballet" of a dinner he ate.
