DOWNTOWN— This Friday, chefs and musicians come together for the Feel the Love Elise benefit to provide financial relief for the Elise Tedeschi and her family as she undergoes cancer treatment. The event starts at 7 p.m. in Hard Rock Cafe's Velvet Underground, and the $50 tickets can be purchased on the official website, where donations are also being accepted. One of the items up for bid in the silent auction is a dinner for 18 hosted by Anne Quatrano and Cliff Harrison in Bacchanalia's private dining room. [Atlanta Magazine]

BUCKHEAD— Spend Independence Day at Watershed on Peachtree and let chefs Joe Truex and Julia LeRoy make it a "Chicken-Fried Fourth of July." The restaurant will be offering the chicken-fried steak sandwich and firecracker green beans for lunch and will celebrate in the evening (be sure to arrive early to ensure they don't sell out) with the Wednesday Fried Chicken Night.
