Updates on Another Broken Egg, The Real Chow Baby, and More

1) Alpharetta: Breakfast cafe Another Broken Egg has started hiring for their soon-to-be-opened new location on Old Milton Parkway. The first Georgia spot is on Peachtree Road in Buckhead. [PLYWOOD]

2) Buford: The second floor of the Mall of Georgia will soon be home to a new restaurant, reports Tomorrow's News Today. The Real Chow Baby is coming to Buford with an expected opening date of September 1. There are also locations of the restaurant, which serves stir-fry, on Howell Mill Road and Ponce de Leon Avenue. 3) Midtown: Restaurant reviewer Grace Lee has purchased Las Palmeras and will update the restaurant's look and menu so that it feels like people are "coming over to [her] house for dinner." She told What Now, Atlanta that she plans to have the restaurant "fully operational to her specifications" by August. [PRE-PLYWOOD]

4) Buckhead: Today, Twin Peaks announced on Twitter that they'll open for dinner on July 2 and will start serving lunch soon after. Guess that means they've hired enough no-experience-necessary servers. [POST-PLYWOOD]

5) Marietta: Earlier this month, UpDog Smoothies & Juices opened on Church Street in Marietta Square with limited hours, but now they're on a regular schedule. The shop is next door to the Be Yoga studio and all of the smoothies are all named after yoga poses, so you know they're healthy. [CONFIRMED OPEN]
