Reviews for Colbeh Persian Kitchen and More

Photo via Thrilist

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's John Kessler has come down from last week's rare four-star mood and awarded Colbeh Persian Kitchen half as many in yesterday's review. He commends the restaurant for offering good food in both full and tasting portions so that diners can experiment and says that one of their dishes, the koo koo sabzi, is like "the missing link between pesto and quiche," but he does mention that the staff is a little green (much like the sabzi) and that the food doesn't quite measure up to that of other Persian restaurants in the area. The comments on this one are fun too— read the nearly identical remarks by "different people" who conveniently share an IP address.

THE ELSEWHERE AND THE BLOGS: The AJC's Jenny Turknett reviews Artisan Foods Bakery and Cafe, Creative Loafing's Cliff Bostock has a less than stellar time at Watershed on Peachtree, Tastemaker continues the trend of making seafood puns after eating at The Optimist, and Wyatt Williams wrote about a Richard Blais doubleheader for Atlanta Magazine.
