WESTSIDE – The 2012 Atlanta Rising Stars gala will be held at The Goat Farm June 13 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Attendees will be able to sample the Rising Star chefs’ creations. This year’s Rising Stars include Andy Carson of Bacchanalia, Shane Devereux of The Lawrence, Adam Evans of JCT. Kitchen & Bar, Robert Phalen of One Eared Stag, Ryan Smith of Empire State South, Tyler Williams of Abattoir and Guy Wong of Miso Izakaya. Tickets are available for $85 per person.
CITYWIDE – Atlantans can now purchase $25 Dinner & A Cause Cards that entitle them to 20 percent off their bill at participating restaurants for a month. The money raised will go toward Children of Conservation, which provides education to the children of wildlife sanctuary workers.
