Creative Loafing's Brad Kaplan visited the only-one-week-old Spence, and acknowledging the taboo nature of reviewing a restaurant so new, decided to write a haiku about it instead. His tongue-in-cheek poem makes fun of the presentation tricks Blais uses and the fact that diners just want to get a glimpse of him—rather than focusing on their meal. He does, however, admit the drinks make a trip to the restaurant worthwhile. [CL]
