Like, really. In a piece that ran yesterday, Cliff Bostock of Creative Loafing calls the cognac and fig ice cream at Jake's the "world's greatest," although apparently one of the best things about the scoops is that they aren't frozen solid. He also calls the fig special at The Shed "perfect" and mentions that "a great combo" is the fig-watermelon pairing in a salad at Grant Central.
