Shaun Doty, the force behind the fast-casual chicken concept Bantam & Biddy, set to open in Ansley Mall in October, has announced the addition of Lance Gummere to his team. Gummere is leaving his current position at The Shed at Glenwood to lead the food and beverage program and handle day-to-day operations at Bantam & Biddy.
“Bantam & Biddy is the type of place I’d want to take my children to,” Gummere said in a statement to the press. “I can’t imagine a better way to focus my love of seasonal cooking and fine cooking than in a restaurant that’s approachable for everyone.”
Added Doty: “I’m thrilled to have Lance join me at Bantam & Biddy. His commitment to providing high quality poultry and seasonal, organic vegetables mirrors mine. Lance is passionate about providing these things to our community at a good value and in a great atmosphere.”
