Pure Knead Buns at YEAH!; Brunch at Sweet Georgia's Juke Joint; More

CANDLER PARKFox Bros. Bar-B-Q is teaching its secrets to the lucky 20 people who snag a spot at their three-part barbecuing class on select Saturdays. The first class is July 28 and includes a focus on smoked wings, stuffed jalapenos, Dr. Pepper chicken and peach cobbler. Pay $30 for one class or $80 for all three. [EaterWire]

VIRGINIA-HIGHLAND YEAH! Burger recently held a taste test to determine which type of gluten-free bun it should offer: Pure Knead (which the restaurant originally offered) or Rudi’s Gluten Free (which YEAH! switched to last summer). DOWNTOWNSweet Georgia’s Juke Joint has started serving Sunday brunch. Offerings include Chef Jaaion Barnes’ crème anglaise French toast with warm maple syrup served with a choice of bacon or sausage; and shrimp and grits (jumbo sautéed shrimp and parmesan cheese grits, topped with tomatoes and crispy Vidalia onions, served with bread.
