Chef Shane Devereux, of The Lawrence, Sound Table, Top FLR, and Dinner Party Atlanta fame, is returning to the place his Atlanta career began—Peasant Bistro. As Corporate Chef for The Peasant Restaurants, Devereux is working at Peasant Bistro every morning, as well as Monday and Tuesday evenings, where he is scaling back the menu to focus more on French bistro cuisine like steak frites, croque monsiuer and beef bourguignon. He may also help out at Campagnolo. A partner at The Lawrence, he will continue to work in the kitchen there every Thursday through Sunday, and rumor has it the restaurant may soon start serving lunch and brunch. [EaterWire]
