Atlanta's Zifty Named One of America's Top Fastest-Growing Private Companies

Atlanta-based restaurant delivery company Zifty has been named to Inc. Magazine’s 2012 list of the America's top 5000 fastest-growing private companies. Companies must have a minimum of $2 million in annual revenue to make the list, which tracks percentage growth over a three-year period. Coastal retailer Savannah Bee Company and Atlanta's Quality Wine & Spirits were also included.

Zifty, which delivers from restaurants like King of Pops and Yeah! Burger, was founded in 2003 and is co-owned by Todd Miller and Jennifer Peté. Since its inception, the company has grown from having one employee and six participating restaurants to employing about 60 people, working with 95 local businesses, and experiencing a growth of 46% over the past three years. Peté says, “We are honored to be included in this list, particularly given that our growth occurred during a very difficult economy."

About Zifty's accomplishments, she added, "Our success is really a testament to organic growth, buy-in and support from the local restaurant community, the quality of our employees, and our dedication to exceptional customer experience,” and attributes the success to the company giving full benefits to full-time employees, having almost no turnover, and offering personalized customer service, real-time delivery updates, and Zifty tracking.
